Pirates of the Caribbean!
By December 14th; we felt ready to push on. We set our sails north
towards a little harbor area in a town named Wallilabou in St. Vincent.
It was a short, uneventful trip of 15 miles. Wallilabou’s claim to fame is
that the movie
Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed there, so we were
curious.  What a surprise!  Most of the sets are still intact and easily
recognizable from the movie.

We moored safely after way too much help from the locals who patrol
the area on their little boats.  Going ashore, we toured the area
pointing at this and that and taking lots of pictures. The sets
surrounded a great restaurant where we ate and tried to imagine what
it must have been like here in this peaceful little area during the
filming of the movie.
If you've seen the movie, these pictures will look familiar (without us in
them, of course.)
Miniatures of the sets were left in the restaurant.
